We stayed in a junior suite and it was super spacious for 4 people with a kitchenette, dining area and washing machine. The view overlooking the ocean was spectacular, especially from the bathroom. The hotel was clean. They don't provide daily room service but provides clean towel, robes and water bottle refills everyday. The customer service is also fabulous, with staff greeting you from the moment you get out of the car at the front entrance, to the reception staff and dining staff. Apart from the amazing views from the suite, the other highlight has to be the buffet breakfast. The variety is amazing especially if you are a seafood lover. However it can get very busy in the morning so either go super early or just after 8.30. The hotel also has a mini mart and kids gaming area. I didn't go to the onsen as it's always busy but it appears to be a popular choice for guests.

Room was upgraded to apartment-style - incl washing machine & min-kitchen. Very comfortable including the bed - and spacious . We also used the onsen. Very good Japanese and western breakfast. Breakfast room manager was very friendly and helpful. Staff everywhere were also friendly and helpful. One of the reception staff even came to our room to help with the washing machine as all the instructions were in Japanese. Hotel is a little distance from the centre - around 900 m flat walk - but there are frequent buses and also a tram takes you most of the way. Many choices to eat in interesting and reasonably-priced Japanese restaurants within a walk including in back streets.

Hotel Global View Hakodate offers a great breakfast selection and a relaxing onsen, making it a comfortable stay for travelers. The food quality and variety were impressive, while the onsen provided a soothing experience after a long day of sightseeing. However, the room I stayed in did not have air conditioning, and during my stay, it only had a heater. Unfortunately, the window was jammed and couldn’t be opened, making the room feel like a sauna. Thankfully, the hotel quickly resolved the issue, ensuring a more comfortable experience afterward. Despite the initial inconvenience, the hotel’s responsiveness and amenities contributed to an overall pleasant stay

It was very spacious which is (unfortunately) a rarity in Japan. It actually allowed us space to store our luggages properly without tripping over like a hazard. The hotel observes eco cleaning so you don't have full room service every day. But it gives you an option to change your towels daily and clear your garbage. Staff were pleasant and most had basic English to be able to communicate with you. Having an onsen onsite was a plus, allowing you to relax and wind down after a long day. NB: 900m distance from JR Hakodate station.

The hotel has an Onsen (hot bath) in the basement, which hotel guests can use free of charge (seperate male and female area). The breakfast is a buffet type with sashimi, different fish types, hot and cold plates, miso soup, bread, rice, ... very good breakfast, which I had booked together with the hotel. Location is good within walking distance to a supermarket, convenience store, restaurants and tram.
